Ok, so there was a joke post earlier about imgur blacklisting us from hotlinking to their images, but it looks like they actually did do it. The dude who runs imgur is MrGrim, a redditor, so I sent him a PM asking why all their pics weren't showing, and this is his response:

Here's their TOS, please read at least the first paragraph. If we fuck up anymore, I doubt they'll unban us again. Please don't be retards. Find another site for hosting titty pics.

And no, for those wondering, I didn't contact them originally telling them to block us, that was just barry trolling. Ironically, his gore pics that i deleted may have been what caused us to get banned in the first place. Nice going!
 


That's wierd there's porn on reddit from imgur all the time and all the stuff in WTF is far worse. I suppose they wouldn't bite the hand that feeds them though.

Who would guess that you were capable of dreaming up such an idea
 
In Firefox:
Type in address bar
about:config
Hit enter
Press "I'll be careful"
find network.http.sendRefererHeader
set it to 1
Now the images from Imgur, imageshack or whatever will show on blocked domains too.
(That might mess up something in websites that requires referrer data so be careful.)

OR even better, install FF plugin RefControl and block referrer only from imgur.
 
I'm pretty sure the reason why they banned us was because any picture that gets uploaded and gets enough views ends up on the imgur gallery. I bet we were causing all sorts of ass and tits to pop up on the gallery. I think they can host porn for Reddit because of an exception that the stuff posted on Reddit doesn't end up on the gallery in the first place (I'm just guessing all of this, but it seems likely if you spend any time on imgur). They should make an exception for us as well.
