As a Pharmacy student, shit like this makes me cringe. I'll leave some knowledge here for anyone that chooses to take Piracetam (note: I take Piracetam daily and unlike shitforbrains in the quote above, I've done actual research on the drug).
1) A big part of the reason that Piracetam tastes bitter is that it has an alkaline acetamide group; the reason the orange juice covers this taste is that the low pH of the acidic juice is (likely) causing the chemical structure to change. This can drastically affect the solubility, action and effects of drugs and is definitely not recommended. (note: it may be reacting at the oxopyrrolidine nitrogen as well, unsure of that) Of course, since most Piracetam is given in capsules and not delayed-release tablets, the stomach is doing virtually the same thing to it, so it may be a moot point.
Regardless, it's certainly a bad idea to ever mix your drugs with anything but water, and even then it's not recommended. Take them in the intended dosage form.
2) If you are eating a western diet, you don't need to take a choline source - there's loads of choline in most of the foods that we eat. Unless you are on a special diet or are starving yourself, the additional choline is of little use and can cause a host of adverse effects including causing you to smell like a dead fish.
3) Taking fish oil with it is is useless as we already covered that your choline intake is most likely fine above. If you absolutely have to take something so you can truly believe that Piracetam is going to somehow magically work better, take no more than 2g of fish oil per day. Fish oil generally contains heavy metals which can build to toxic levels in your body over time, so go easy.
4) This might be the only useful thing said - yes, piracetam is soluble in water. And alcohol. And a metric shit-ton of other solvents.
5) Piracetam does not need to "build in your system". The drug has a known peak serum time of 1.5 hours and half-life of about 5 hours, which means that unless you're pounding this shit hourly it's not going to "build" anywhere but your toilet bowl as you piss it out.
Given that Piracetam's mechanism of action is largely still unknown and believed to be a combination of factors, you might even be doing yourself a disservice by taking higher or more frequent doses. Also, the recommended dosing is pretty much "who the fuck knows", so you're left trying to figure the shit out by yourself. If you want a "safe" suggestion, you can go with 800mg of Piracetam 3x daily, spread out every 5 hours or so (taken from: Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference - Piracetam Monograph)
Given that Piracetam is generally accepted as safe with low toxicity, it's probably not going to kill you to play around with it a bit. But PLEASE at least do some more research than the guy Beach Affiliate quoted!
(note: I didn't really cite much outside of Martindale for dosing because I've done enough racetam research that most of this comes from memory. But hit up
Google Scholar if you want to learn more.)
(note 2:
Piracetam for dementia or cognitive impairment - The Cochrane Library - Flicker - Wiley Online Library - The Cochrane Review of studies regarding Piracetam's usefulness in cognitive impairment stated that
"Published evidence does not support the use of piracetam in the treatment of people with dementia or cognitive impairment. Although effects were found on global impression of change, no benefit was shown by any of the more specific measures of cognitive function.")
Try it out - but don't expect NZT-48.
