So I just watched the movie "In Time".

Not well rated but worth the watch, I just pray that the greedy fucking corporations out there don't turn the world into something similar. Seems to be a perfect way to create a single currency while motivating low income demographics.

It wasn't "not well rated because it's a really whacked out concept."

It's not well rated because other than the underlying concept, it's a boring, predictable "action" movie with almost no action and stiff, wooden acting.

It conspicuously tried so hard to be Minority Report or Total Recall or I, Robot but fell flat in trying to meet even the lowest points of those movies.

Justin isn't that great of an actor but the trailer hooked me. The concept seems a bit odd but still entertaining enough.

Your right, it was not due to concept but execution but still as others have said it wasn't HORRIBLE, it was worth the watch as it was still entertaining. If you ever played poker before the poker scene certainly puts a new meaning to risk, lol.

Looks like a really fun, original concept.

The first few seconds made me think it is a ripoff of Logan's Run, but it takes quite a different turn of direction soon thereafter.

Looking forward to it.

Exactly. Not horrible but fell flat, IMO. Rented it on Vudu hoping for a really cool movie but found that I was bored pretty quick.

Great concept, but I bet the actual film is dogshit. Hope it isn't though.

It's like they want you in every scene to spend your time trying to relate their economic system to ours. And if they can get you to do that, then they really don't have to do much for the plot.

Think about what the film would be like without the gimmick.

It was a good concept, but because I'm not a 35-year-old housewife, I dont give a shit about bonnie & clyde love stories. I was mad such a cool and different world from any in todays movies was so totally dicked like this.

I thought it was alright. I don't see how anything like that could ever plausibly happen, though, so you shouldn't worry too much.

It was a little heavy on the social commentary IMO.
