It's interesting news. Theres been a decent amount of reports of 'illicit' drugs providing improvements to various illnesses over the past couple of years. Surely the Govs are going to become more relaxed about the use of drugs in the not too distant future, whether that be medically or personal it will still be a great step forward.

Drugs are a government run industry which supports prisons, another government run industry. Unless you can come up with a better method of funneling trillions of dollars around in secret, there will be no desire to relax anything.
Think about it; after 9-11 you couldn't get a nail clipper through the airport, but the volume of coke and dope coming in through those same airports stayed constant. Actually, it went up after we stopped the Taliban from fucking things up.
I watched this documentary on Special K, It made me never want to try it. That guy who spends upwards of $100 per day to be retarded is the perfect " Don't do drugs campaign"

Oh hell yes... Legalize all illicit drugs. The world is over populated as it is. This will cover two things. Getting rid of some low life's and decreasing the population at the same time.

Tons of people are doing drugs now and the hospitals aren't exactly overflowing with people dropping dead because of them.
You get rid of some people on the back end though; might be able to fix social security that way.

This guys a perfect example of one of the reasons drugs aren't legalized, and also the reason families fall apart. The stigma attached to drugs. If alcohol had been illegal since you were born (and grouped with the current illicit drugs) would you consider your parents low lives if they drank occasionally? There is nothing morally wrong with taking drugs. Do you watch porn? Your consuming porn because you want to cum, every time you masturbate you change your mental state in order to feel pleasure.
If anything, legalizing drugs and educating people would cause LESS deaths. If people had proper information about drugs and could be sure of quality there would be a lot less deaths.
Pretty much every single time I've heard of someone dying from drugs is due to a bad batch. If not that, usually when people OD its because they are used to weaker quality substance (because it's cut) and then when they get good stuff they don't realize, dose the same amount and OD.
