I'm doing a review site and the reviews have been copy/pasted from elsewhere. I'm thinking of seo optimizing them but will they rank even then?

Be careful, if you try to rank with content that's not at least 86.4% unique, Eric Schmidt will personally come to your house wearing only a pair of leather chaps and rape your dog.

If you don't have a dog, he will get a Google team member to buy you one under an alias, allow you a few months to get attached to it, and then proceed with the aforementioned violation.

Of course, it's possible. Even 100% copied articles are ranking higher then the originals - It's all about the authority of the publishing site.

But yes, for new sites you should spin it a bit :)

Fucking loved that pug until that day. :( But he just wasn't the same afterwards and had to be put down.

There's a legend, that if your content isn't at least 60% unique matt cutts will come out of your computer screen at night and rape you with a 12 inch dildo. Don't risk it bro, unless your into that which is understandable since this is a gay webmaster forum.
