I FUCKING HATE WHEN I WANT TO SPEND MONEY TO FIX PROBLEMS AND I CAN'T.

We've got a bunch of iOS code and just need someone to talk to us about best practices for a half hour.

eLance is a wasteland. Fiverr is a joke for this. I want to talk to someone who's fucking bad ass for a half hour. They look at my code, we ask questions, they answer. Who do I hit up?

Thanks

I've got a guy trouble shooting some code as well. Are you trying to promote an app? I'll let you know what he finds out. ASW?

hmmmm a badass you say? even I can't help, iOS sucks pelotas (programs for it at least), which is why it is hard to find legit programmers for it.

useless post is useless, referring to my post

thats what happens when you try to go cheap lol, go with the boss to start with, you'll end up paying same or more.

What do you mean go cheap? We're coding it in house. We're trying to add knowledge equity to our company. Did you not understand that money isn't the problem here? I just reached out the one of the largest and most well connected community of problem solvers on the internet and got 4 posts telling me fucking nothing.

Contact Aaron Hillegass - hell be able to help or get you a reference to someone who can. He's the author of objective c programming books and runs big nerd ranch, a boot camp for Mac programming. I've sent him random emails before with questions on his books and products and he has answered them.

Good luck!

If you still need someone shoot me a PM and I can hook you up with my guy.

You mentioned Fiverr like it was actually something you considered in your search for a software development consultant.

If iOS software development is something you plan on doing a lot of have you considered hiring someone on full time that knows what they are doing? Certainly a more attractive proposition than "picking someone's brain for a half an hour".

Have you actually done some Googling and tried contacting some of the people in the SERPs? Someone like these guys perhaps (page one for "ios software consultant") Big Nerd Ranch Consultants

Have you considered posting your job up on some place that isn't full of useless Indians like Krop - Design Jobs: Creative & Tech ?
