Anybody have experience with stop smoking affiliate offers? I picked up a decent domain (coldturkey.net) and figured that I might as well get it going.

I ran a few stop smoking banners on one of my sites... not too many conversions. But, my traffic wasn't targeted.

In your case, however, it sounds like you have a great domain name for it. Actually, it's an excellent domain name for stop smoking offers. Tons of potential. With the right traffic and good ad copy, you could make some serious coin.

Any offers that you've either tried or heard about that are good?

An offer is only as good as you make it.

You could ask 10,000 people if an offer is good and they could all tell you the same exact thing but when you go to try it you might fail and wonder why?

For one in that example there is a lot of competition which makes it harder, for second you might not have the right campaign going, landing page might need work, not split testing correctly.

There are lots of things other then the offer to consider.

No doubt that there's a number of marketing factors, but I would think within each stop smoking approach (pharmaceuticals, hypnosis, gum, ebooks), there's got to be a few that stand out.

google adsense pays pretty well for stop smoking keywords. 30 cents - 1.50 cents normally. you might want to try that out if you can't find an affiliate offer. I think azoogle ads has a couple though. Not 100% though

You could always promote stop smoking books and stuff through amazon or ebay. eBay prob pays better (esp if you get new registrations) - maybe try auctionads if it fits with your site. Amazon you can get feeds with reviews etc, which could work well.

Also, have a look what these people paying $1 a click in Adsense are selling and maybe sell that?

If you aren't already in them here's the eBay & Amazon program links:
eBay is with Commission Juntion
or through AuctionAds (aff.. :D) or non-aff :(
Amazon Associates (aff...) or non-aff
