i am so sick of my adwords account being a piece of shit just because its new. They are charging me INSANE rates, etc, just because my account is new. My content is good, my QS should be good, etc but im getting fucked.

So i saw people on another forum last year asking to buy old adwords accounts from people that were in 'good standing' etc. Any of you have more than one account? maybe an old one that is in good standing, that i could buy?

Would that even work?

those people asking to buy old adsense account didn't have a clue what they were talking about. I mean... could you buy someone else's gas or water account?

how did you get the traffic to get your $2500 in 2 weeks, adwords?

No, i didnt use anything that cost me any money, no PPC for that.

Im trying to get into PPC which is why i am asking the question. I need a better adwords account because they SUCK for people with new accounts.

i did man. i emailed them many times. their responses are all crap. which is why im asking this question. if i buy someones old account 'that was always in good standing' , would it work for me?

I have multiple adwords accounts and I can definitely attest that my older, more established, and higher-spending accounts get better treatment both from the system and from the "support" reps. I only have one that is historically in "good standing" so I don't have any spares to sell, but I definitely see why someone would want to buy one.

Ddue just get to work, you CAN get a new adwords account to produce, its just a little harder which is a good thing for a newb. If you learn now how to get your campaigns going well it will just get easier and easier plus youll have more skill and knowledge of adwords to ppush future campaigns ROI waaaay up compaired to if you just get an old account, through something up, and it kinda works cause its a trusted account. Learn to do it right, the slow long painfull way, itll be much better in the end

Older accounts do get treated better, it's a fact. I don't even think it matters if it's in "good standing" or not.

Sure you can make a new account work, but you're going to spend more initially to get it up to speed fast.

what I meant was to ask the adwords people if they could sell you "one of the old ones that people are no longer using" sorry, just being sarcastic.:)

So, you want to buy an adwords account like some people might buy someone else's passport or driving licence, right? Because that's the only way you can buy one.

In that case you could buy an adwords account, but I am not sure if an old one would be better than a new one.

I think if you were to start spending 50 grand a day with them, after 3 days you'd have a better standing than someone who spent 50 grand in 5 years, but then what do I know... I am talking only about business sense, NOT google.

i will dude.. but like i said. for my ONE mothers day campaign, i spent 600 buck and only made 200 profit. profit is better than loss, but still.. lol. if i had done it on a good account, i would have gotten SO MUCH BETTER ROI

Lemon, I don't know how old your account is but mine is only 3 months old and over the last 2 weeks I've noticed a significant drop in cpc. I bid higher than I wanted to for the first 3-4 weeks which gave me a high ctr. I don't know if that did it, but it's the only thing I can think of. Now I'm bidding 10 cents and getting a lot of quality clicks to some of my sites that are converting. I started out paying 80 cents for almost the same conversions.

I don't think this is as big of a problem as you're making it out to be. I'd have to agree with kaveman.

Ok.. well thanks for the hope guys. We will see how it goes, i hope it goes smooth. I wanna be rich like you guys ;)

Maximus-

Is that a facet of the age of the account or the age of the campaign? (or both)

Do you notice that you are also able bid lower initially with new campaigns? Or did your campaigns just get a CTR history that raised their quality score over these few weeks?

My account is 3 months old and the campaign I was referring to (dating), is about 2.5 months old.

I have not noticed that I am able to bid lower initially but I always start out bidding high for the first week to get my CTR up especially if I'm targeting only the search network. Then I lower my bid and the clicks keep coming at the same rate.

Well..

I just found out an OLD account i had from a former employer, cancelled it but can reactivte it. It was madein November, dont remember if it converted well.

Do you think i should reactivate it under a different credit card number?
