All The Adderall Talk In Here

This is perhaps the closest anyone has come to summing up how that stuff makes you feel, musically:

Focus Formula+2 shots of espresso for those of you who don't have a friendly shrink. And those that do are probably on vyvanse.

Just eat right and work out and you wont need to take drugs, your only treating the symptom not the cause.

Sorry to hear they filled that script. You should seriously consider either tossin or selling the rest. What you are experiencing is the honeymoon phase, but once that's over you are fucked. With in 2 months (prob much sooner) you will be takin more than you r supposed to you will then start the Rollie coaster ride. You will start workin trades with friends then you will start buyin on the street then at some point you will be out and jonesin and settle for whatever you can find (prob opiates or barbiturates) and then the real trbl starts

Once you start getting off is nearly impossible (I know u can stop anytime at least that's what I thought). I know this post won't matter and your going to take them anyway) but you should have a serious heart to heart with yourself and ask if this prison cell you r walkin into is really worth it. And don't forget all great minds had the same trbls you are thank god theiinds wernt fucked up because they went to the dr for a soar ankle and got the wrong meds

I dont think it has anything to do with being successful in business.

If your not able to perform ( in your observation with adderall and viagra ) is it better to not take anything and continue to have an issue, or use something to help you with your issue? Personally, if I can take something to help me sleep at night ( which was a huge issue for me ) as well as give me focus during the day and help me unstress, then Im all for it regardless of what its name is ( alcohol, legal pills, BJs, get my drift.. etc )

I remember a doctor comparing it to having glasses... if you had an eyesight problem that could be helped with glasses, wouldn't you wear them or would you suffer with eye sight problems the rest of you life?

I hear you, but the problem with all drugs (including sleeping tablets) is that they are a short term fix, and they have side effects. You're essentially surrendering control of your body to a pharmaceutical company when you start taking this stuff.

The longer you take them, the more dependent you are, and the harder it becomes to manage without them. Eventually, you have to take more and more just to get the same level of performance.

There could be any number of reasons you're having trouble concentrating - lifestyle, diet, sleep, emotional disturbance, willpower. Any of those are correctable if you find out what they are. By just taking drugs to deal with it, you're masking the real problem without getting to the bottom of the situation.

Viagra isn't a very good comparison (it was an offhand comment by me). It's more like taking anabolic steroids to put muscle on. Sure, you'll look better quicker, but you're storing up big problems for later, and as soon as you stop, you'll lose the muscle again.

I'm not totally anti meds. I believe that when used judiciously, they can help with problems over the short term. I know several people who have been helped over severe depressive episodes by taking SSRIs, to a point where they could benefit from therapy, and have got their lives back on track.

The big danger comes when they are marketed as "lifestyle medications", to be taken over an indefinite period. Spending your entire life dependent on one substance or other in order to function is a very poor existence indeed.

You should watch Generation Rx if you haven't seen it already:

Honeybadger does it natural. Honeybadger knows best.

Seriously, you want to feel like a god? Start lifting weights, and push yourself until you can't lift anymore. Work out big muscles like your legs and abs, get that fucking blood flowing. You might be sore, but damn you feel like a fucking god.

Humans are prone to short term fixes, schemes, boosts etc.

It's part of how we're wired.

Overcoming that is hard to do.

Dexedrine IR FTW! It's the US Air Force pilot's drug of choice.

Just 5mg of that stuff will make you get your shit done for sure! Too bad that it's a bitch to find or get prescribed to.

Usually problems with sleep is related to problems with my check book. Slow your roll and save some money.

Hey, Wellbutrin. It does work pretty good for some people especially if you were having social/anxiety problems.

You're going to be going right at your dopamine system with this though. If you're the kind of person who really does get a nice ole dopamine blast of mental reward from finishing a project and hustling it can get very easy to have zero motivation when off it. Just cycle it and don't up the dose when on.

Oh, and if you smoke and want to quit, now's the time. Much easier to quit on Wellbutrin.

You just totally nailed it. Rep man+

Lack of focus is typically due to a lack of dopamine. Meditation is one thing that has been proven to increase dopamine.
