Looking for a Wrist Watch to match my lifestyle

Rolex GMT Master II +1. Just got one and I'm digging it.

I bought a Panerai Luminor GMT last year, (PAM00161). Pretty nice, very solid/well built in stainless & titanium. Like the pretty well timeless design. Thought about a Rolex submariner, but tbh one of the reasons I got the Panny is that not many people realise what it is/how much it cost, so it doesn't attract any attention - whereas everyone knows a Rolex and how much you just spent. I like nice stuff, but not flashy/showy.

Thinking about a classic Breitling Navitimer this year (not a blinged out one), or maybe an IWC big pilot or a more 'classic' Panny. The Panerai's are well worth a look as a Rolex alternative though, really happy with mine.

I'm after a breitling like this, around $10k.

You won't regret it, the Bentley range is slick. I swapped in my Navitimer for one of these:

I'm much more confident in my appearance than most males. A brand-name watch is not going to contribute anything.

In fact anyone who thinks positive of me because I would wear one is probably someone I would despise.

^This. I'm not trying to attract gold digging whores. If they see that, they're more likely to want to marry you, and less likely to want to sleep with you.

the black and silver michael kors are fucking sick looking. i get people stopping me all the time asking me what it is. great watches esp if you are a larger guy, and or like a bigger watch face

A bunch of useless posts on why/why not wear a watch and fuck all posts answering the OPs question...

I got a rolex submariner. To be honest, I havent worn the bitch in 6+ months. I mean my iphone has the date, time, etc. etc. etc.

I'm with you. My watch sits in a drawer almost always. I only wear a watch when I'm out on my boat and I would never wear a nice one out there. I have a Rip Curl watch, lol. I am soooo not legit.

But I have a friend who is the sheriff of swag and he'd tell you Breitling all the way.

I inherited a bunch of great watches a decade or so ago and for the life of me I just can't wear them for one reason alone: The grab the FUCK out of my arm hairs and pull them around like a god damn catfight convention!

I got like seven of them, a rollex and a bunch of other (prettier) watches and each one is slightly different in size, all with metal bands that each find a way to pull more of my armhair out than the last one. ;(

I did replace one black watches' band with a leather band, and I use that when I dress up... The rest just don't seem to be worth the trouble, been thinking about ebaying those bastards for a long time but I inherited them from someone I respect, and I would rather find a way to fit them in my life.

Do I just have more nerves in my armhair roots than everyone else? Wearing such a watch for 10 minutes is like shoving my arm in a chickenplucker...
