Al Davis Dead!

The Raider fans celebrating Davis' death are the same idiots who wear shoulder pads with skulls to football games.

Coining "Just win, baby" alone is more than most people do with their entire lives.

Sad. Al Davis did a lot to make the NFL what it is today, nobody is really celebrating this.

He should have stepped aside a few years ago as should Jerry Jones, however the numbers speak for themselves. 3 Super Bowls, 12 Division Titles, and only 7 losing seasons between 1963-2002. Yeah they have sucked of late, but the Al Davis put in work!

Rip ...

Even tho he made shitty choices with players...his a legend

What the fuck? He helped make the AFL (which made the NFL what it is today) and won 3 Superbowls! This more than offsets JaMarcus.

Ever hear of John Madden? Davis plucked him from the college ranks, he never coached pro anywhere else.

Talk about "what have you done for me lately". Bigger picture, gentlemen. Just because he was past his prime the past few years doesn't mean the guy wasn't a giant.

He was also dirty as fuck, but I attribute that to his insane level of competitiveness. Truly one of a kind ... and the last coach to go on to own a pro football team.
