You think if there was some thread about Jesus being great, it'd get a different reaction?
Probably not. But for a different reason maybe. Jesus is 24/7 in the part of the world I live in for about half of any given year. This forum aside in rl when it cross's over in an attempt to downplay reason the outcry is infinitesimal smaller. It's just expected it seems.

Maybe it is noteworthy, but I don't think it is a significant historical event or anything. Scanning the comments on youtube, it doesn't appear that anyone has noticed any type of controversial message behind the lyrics, if they have, they don't seem to care.
Marilyn Manson was all over MTV in shocking videos and calling himself the antichrist superstar. This is nothing at all compared to that.
Most people that watch this movie are not going to pay attention to the lyrics and most of those that do will just think it is about being confident in yourself or something like that.
