Ok so I'm notoriously cheap and I only pay cash for things, never make payments, most of you know. My jew game is proper, FTCHater is proud - so I'm finally looking at cars and I think I have it down to a few options.

- BMW 535i

- Jaguar XF Supercharged

- Cadillac CTS

- Lincoln MKZ

The XF really looks like the best bang for the buck, doesn't stussy here have an XF? Downside is it's a V8 so not as good of mileage as the other two, but 464 horsepower.

535i is a turbo V6 (twin turbo depending on year)

MKZ is the most economical option..but not quite refined like the others, but the best mileage and warranty out of all of them. The others have 5yr 50k mile warranties, this is 5yr 50k for all but the powertrain, which is 7yr 70k mi. Hybrid version that gets 40mpg city and hwy, and regular gas, too.

CTS is somewhere between, and a bit more sporty. Warranty is decent, similar to the others but 5yr for powertrain.

I honestly like supporting Ford products since they didn't take a bailout but I wanted something more fun at the same time, which Lincoln doesn't have right now it seems. But if I buy used, none of the money goes to Ford anyway.

I'm torn, but leaning more at the XF or 535i, and just discovered the XF really recently but it seems great.

Opinions? Thanks all.

XF or 535

i wouldn't bother with the Lincoln or the cadillac. They'll depreciate fast as balls.

If you're not worried about everyone else driving the same car as you, then get the 535 because of the performance. If you want something unique and a little less rare, get the XF. but IMO those are the only two you should consider.

Pretty sure top gear reviews the XF and they are pretty please with it.

Of the cars you posted the BMW is the best choice. Those things are R&D'd to the ballz by really talented test drivers. The handling is Fuckin predictable as the sunrise.

Why do you guys think the 535 over the XF? XF is 464hp, 535 is 300 - the 535 from these years apparently is having a big fuel pump issue.

Also in my area we have a BMW factory and US corporate headquarters (one of), so BMWs everywhere. Here a Jag is much less common.

+1 BMW 535i

What about Audi, I seem to have a thing about Audi but I love BMW almost equally the same.

Everyone has a 535 but they are good looking vehicles. I have heard that the MKZ is horrible. But the interior looks attractive to me.

The XF is drop dead sexy but long-term reliability would be a concern.

That's right you are.

Here do this before you decide, than tell me your not getting the BMW.

cheers!

PS: and they say say fox is fair and balanced. If you were in NY I'd hook you up myself for all the help you've given me over the years.

Ford was getting "secret" help from the federal reserve and I don't doubt they would have taken a bailout if they thought they needed it.

I'd probably get the Jaguar or this :
