Dr. Paul DESTROYS Rick Perry in New Ad

You guys seen this one yet?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfYfxd7pmPw]Ron Paul - "What If Ron Paul Was President?" - YouTube[/ame]

The best Rap song in the world; bar none!

During the debate he got some boos from the crowd in reference to his response on muslim tensions. I, for one, find his response very accurate. If you don't keep diplomatic relations, invade and bomb people from that religion, make allies with their sworn enemies, then what do you expect the result to be?

But back to Ron, he's still not getting enough coverage and Romney and Perry seem to be taking all the spotlight.

I don't understand how they could have "boo'd" him at his response to that question. How can people be so ignorant towards the truth? And the fact that the other no name politician (no name because I forgot his name, so obv he's not important) keeps trying to play off "freedom" and shit to get an applause really baffles me because he succeeds in looking more "American" to the people.

Just started watching the debate highlights, so he wants government run services to be privatised. That happened here in Australia with our public transport network, and guess what? it's a pile of shit. There's no competition obviously, therefore no incentive to improve anything, they focus more on catching fare evaders (with pseudo-FBI-looking inspectors with badges around their necks) than improving the network\running trains on time\increasing frequency of trains. Not to mention the price of a daily train ticket is now $7. They also spent $1 BILLION on a new ticketing system (which could have paid to run the network fully for 10 years!), also a pile of shit. It went way over budget, was delivered years late and full of problems. It still runs side by side the old ticketing system, so each station\train\tram has 2 sets of ticketing systems. It was better when it was run by the government.

The government runs our postal service, and its excellent. The price of a postage stamp in 1980 was 22c, today 30 years later it's only 60c. Taking into account inflation over the period it is actually cheaper. From 1992 to 2003 it stayed at 45c, a fucking amazing feat to not increase for a decade. That's how well it is run.

Privatising and free market is not always the best way, don't blindly support everything this guy says. Do you want private money grubbing companies running your firehouses, police and ambulance services? good fucking luck with that.

What happened to your public transport network is not possible at all in a truly free market.

Of course one of those has never existed on this planet though, so, well, you know...
