RC Jet

My father-in-law used to be pretty big into electric RC.

Def less of a hassle and def cheaper and easier to learn.

Seriously don't drop $4k on one of these with no experiance, you'll just crash it the first time out.

Before you all rush out and blow your money on this stuff:

THESE THINGS ARE FUCKING HARD TO FLY. YOU WILL CRASH. YOU WILL FUCK SHIT UP. Period. Buy something for a beginner, ParkZone: Ultra Micro J-3 Cub BNF (PKZ3980) comes to mind if you like planes. Above all, I'd suggest getting something from Horizon Hobby as they have awesome support.

I taught myself to fly R/C planes and crashed a lot of planes getting to where I am today.

Here was a bad day where I blew up my 1k motor and had to borrow my buddies 5k plane to finish the contest.

Now they can do it at near the speed of sound, too small for any radar. Likely controlled from any smartphone.

Beats a gun for assassinations any day of the week. This shit is mega-lethal.

But wouldn't they be able to detect where it started (radar? I have no idea about such things)?
(Or to check who ordered such thing on amazon?)

They'd be able to see where it entered their radar field, but since it can fly down low between buildings easily that's not going to help them if they aren't specifically looking for this kind of attack in advance.

About the parts from amazon; absolutely. I'd buy this shit off the Silk Road or a real black market if I were using it to assassinate...

Of course if it's going fast enough with enough of an explosive charge at just the right time, they won't even know what to look for... It'd likely look just like a missile!

This. Get a good flight simulator before you even try to fly. Yeah, controls are reversed when a plane or chopper is flying towards you. You might not think that's difficult, but you will put it into the ground real fast if you don't have a fair amount of time on the sim. Then get yourself a real stable beginner plane.

But, but... I thought this whole forum was on the watchlist already! :/

Seriously, I'd be more scared if I thought they were competent enough to track me from WF to my real address. :smokin:

How do you set off the explosive when its coming down on the target?

Any mercury fulminate/chemicial reactant in a vial would bound to be risky when hurtling at that speed. If you're using an RC switch to set off the xplosive, you must have a good trigger finger.

Hilarious idea to get after watching that vid lol

I heard you can program these things to go to a specifc GPS co-ordination where an operator can take over and land it. First thing that poped into my head was drug smuggling!
