What environment do you work in when you are in "The Zone"?

When you are cranking it out. Setting up new campaigns, building pages, testing offers, etc. etc. what is the environment?

LOUD MUSIC? What kind?
TV on? What do you watch?


I prefer music when I'm in the groove. Usually with NFL network on with the sound off.
 


2 monitors (left and right) have a full screen version of meatspin with the studio monitors/subwoofer bouncing 'you spin me right round' hard. that there is what makes all the action take place on the middle monitor, productivity.

I'm more productive when in a quiet environment as compared to a noisy one.
 
Something about working at night in the dark with only the internetz to light the room makes me work the best. So I've had crazy sleeping hours in the past. But lately I've wanted to join the land of the living and have been keeping a regular day-time awake schedule - productivity is way down.
 
2 monitors is a must.

I usually have chill lounge or electro-downtempo music playing in the background, not too loud. I like this kind of music when working because it's all instrumental, so you can actually focus on your work, not the lyrics.

A cup of green tea with ginseng, if I'm working in the morning/afternoon. A beer if I'm working at night.

Most importantly though, I need my girl to leave me the fuck alone, that is the toughest part of it all. She just doesn't understand that coming in to even ask me a simple question can get me out of the zone.
 
Lots of Dubstep.

Don't see the point of dual monitors if you have an efficient workspace.
