Method of Advertising?

I like to Use PPV, media buys and Facebook ads.. My main offers that do well are EDU dating and credit reports and some mobile hear and there...
I prefer email, although I have worked with a lot of PPC, search and social (FB). A lot of people tend to lean towards email because its the sort of sit and wait approach rather than hands on. Problem with that tactic is that it ends up being a lot of flash in the pan style of marketing. One campaign works with one drop, then you got the suppression and it doesn't anymore. I just think its easier to stay up with testing offers being a mailer, not only for different offers but for metrics too (how big list, conversions, etc...) easier to gauge. :bigear:

I'm very proud to say I have tried, learned, and been successful at all the standard traffic types: SEO, PPC, Social, PPV, Media buys, Mailing.
Some took a lot longer and more failures than others to finally learn and succeed at but every single one of my successes is directly attributed to the people here on WF. Every time i've wanted to learn a new traffic type I ask around WF for people who will train me. At least one person has always graciously stepped forward and been willing to baby step me through it and answer all my daily and sometimes hourly questions for months on end till I got it all figured out and doing well without the training wheels.
Wickedfire is seriously awesome and if you take the time to get to know the nice players here it can help you set record year after record year endlessly, and since there's at least a few experts on everything IM here you're never without resources.
The last two frontiers I plan to conquer before I run out of ideas and have to retire:
1. running a network
2. becoming an advertiser
I've already started on the first, onward to conquering. The second is already in the early stages.
It's like boyscout badges. I plan to earn them all.

Quick question: What drives you to be so diverse in mastering all of these traffic sources. Why not just become a master in one or two, scale, and dominate? Is it boredom?

PPC, FB, SEO, and Mail ... are the traffic sources I have used in my lifecycle as an Aff marketer. However recently Mail has been a bit of a bitch and I sold all my SEO sites for a handsom bounty years back. So for now I've been concentrating most of my efforts on FB and POF and other random PPC.
I am looking to start my climb into doing some buys in the coming months as well. Anyone who wishes to do some knowledge exchange should hit me up !
