I actually had hopes for him.

You could pull a name from the Palin children out of the hat randomly and assuredly get someone who would be a better president than Obama.

Plus he's in more serious trouble than it appears anyway - Wall Street is against him. They backed him (Goldman Sachs and JPM and big buy side fund names in particular) early and hard against Hilary in the primaries and that's where his inevitability began. Now they want him out. Almost no donations.

Goldman Sachs employees gave Obama $10k+ Q2 of '11 vs. @ $1million at same point in '07 - granted, he's an incumbent but that's a devastating dropoff, plus they've tripled their donations to Romney (a wall street guy) from $100k to $300k in the same period.

You want to see which way the wind is blowing in just about anything, you take a look at what Goldman is doing - and they don't give a shit about "issues".
