So trying to sell something on CL get the typical nigerian emails about wanting to buy your stuff with a check/money order/cashiers check, honestly not sure what they send

i know if you actually depoist those into your bank account you get fucked a few weeks later when it doesnt fully clear

BUT

my friend insists that if he goes to a check cashing place then it's whatever right fuck it?

no right? they verify the validity of the cashiers check before cashing u at a check cashing place right???

either way my friend doesnt give a fuck his credit is fucked anyway, hes like is there anyway to actually get the money from the cashiers check and just be like fuck it clean it up later?

would that just involve fucking his bank account?

cashing it possible?
 


He'd probably still have to give identifying info to the check cashing place; when the check comes back bogus, they'll go to the feds. Then the feds come to your friend.

Your friend would have better luck photocopying $10 bills and trying to use those.

Just for giggles one time I played along with a Nigerian and got him to send me a cashier's cheque.

Jeepers I don't know how those suckers fool anybody. Maybe a bank teller at a very large bank that doesn't give a bumpkis anyhow.

But a payday loan place? Not going to happen. Well, actually tell your friend to try it and then go along and film it for Youtube. Just for yuks.
