Silk Road and Bitcoins - Buy drugs online?

Should I start only offering bitcoin payments to EWA affiliates?

What I think is funny is that these hackers think that their shit is fool-proof against US / Chinese investigators. These guys have a bigger ego than me.
 


I am trying to grasp this concept of Bitcoin-otc. I mean I like drugs but this concept seems
so convoluted.

And believe me...the abundance of CP on the Tor network is a far bigger concern for the Feds.

They were off for quite a while. They only came back a month or two ago (and I remember when it happened)

I know the FBI will be aware of it, but the more press like this it gets, the more popular it gets, the more the FBI get pushed to bother about it. Can you imagine if Fox News started reporting about it?

Good point about the cp, I think those are less likely to get in the public eye though, so no pressure on the FBI. News networks don't like mentioning even the existence of CP, and there are barely any outraged mothers. Online drugs, on the other hand...

The physical mail address is the weakest link here.... a maildrop would be safer than home address. If/when these sites do get busted, you wouldn't want your details in an access database lying around.

Police won't be onto this for a while.... it's far too technical for most of the plod in the UK.

Ah, but that's the thing. You have a private message system, and you're encouraged to encrypt any messages, using the seller's public key. Their private key, which only they have, is required to decrypt it.

Wouldn't make a difference - if the seller works for the feds, then they can't actually send drugs out through the mail, so a non-issue if you only deal with people with feedback.

If the buyer works for the feds, then... The buyer works for the feds. Nothing happens. All the buyer finds out is what the guy's packaging looks like, and what his weed's like.
 
In the time it takes to get TOR and sign up for this site, wouldn't it be easier to just call a drug dealer and tell him to bring you some weed? Then you don't even have to pay shipping.

Me and Joe we're talking before about doing a deal on some E (nearly Festival time so need the stocks lol). Still risky though, get caught with a bit of weed and you'll get a slap on the wrist, but with E we're talking 7 years in jail with a chunky fine. Disguising shipments and vacuum sealing sounds good, but it still gets directed to your home. Much more incriminating than on the street. Maybe setting up a buffer address is the way to go. I bet a fair few ppl will make some serious money with this as it grows (that Gawker article has 212k views atm so I imagine it will).:)

From what if stuff gets caught getting mailed to your house it's just seized and you won't get in trouble for it since it's very hard to prove that you were the one soliciting the mail, anyone could be sending stuff to your house..

Obviously if you're getting kilograms of cocaine delivered it's a different story but I'd think for small dealings it's unlikely you will get in trouble. If you're getting it mailed UK to UK also I'd say it's pretty unlikely they'd detect it.

I dunno, anyone else no more about this stuff? I've bought drugs online but I'm not expert.
 
Is there any relatively cheap way to get bitcoins?

The price seems quite high on the market, I'd love to get some as a investment though considering how well it's performing against the usd.

Just went on and saw that 3Jane, looks like a good seller.:)

The sellers were mostly USA based, then Canada and then there was a few UK to UK deals on there and delivery was taking just one or two days with them. A problem with some of the E packages was that they were being sold in batch of 2 grams (about 20 I think?!). May test out the old Mary Jane first!:rasta:

Not really. Generate them yourself if you have a high performance cluster with lots of GPUs (yes GPU, not CPU due to the floating point calculations).
