NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I do not care if the rich get richer as long as I get richer too.
I didn't know wickedfire was filled with so many members of the upperclass. Congrats to you.

But the facts show that if you are not rich then the GOP has been slowly screwing you over the last 30 years. As a class the only ones getting richer are the upper class.

Thank god a lot of the middle class are opening their eyes to this fact.

(And BTW, the Dems aren't much better. But at least they give you a kiss before they bend you over.)

Why the fuck are people getting into a Repub vs. Dem debate? Can't you just fucking unite under the umbrella of "Palin being a crazy bitch" who would be horrible for the country no matter what political views you hold?

Post all the pictures you want, but email chain stuff is typically misleading and therefore not very relevant to how I would vote.

Fact Checker - Obama Nabbed by the Patriot Police

Then your post would imply that republicans are for the people. They are the ones more likely to give Walmart and such special tax breaks and benefits that the smaller businesses often don't get. This is corporatism, which is not free market.

Fair enough across the board. Republicans and Democrats are terrible. I suppose it all comes down to the lobbyists. I used to work for a couple lobbyist firms - the things the/control - it is eye opening.

I still do not see how expensive gas, no jobs, shutting down businesses all of which the left is "proud of" is good for the average citizen.

Can you explain that to me.

on an unrelated note... can anyone name this movie? Can't think of it for the life of me and need to watch it again now. Pretty sure it's a 2 word title just can't put my finger on it

Sure. You're wrong about everything. Politicians don't really have any control over gas prices:

Fuel prices: The gas-price debate | The Economist

Unemployment still fucking sucks, but it's moving in the right direction (and is doing alot better in the recent months not shown on this graph):

I'm not sure how Obama is "shutting down businesses". I always hear about some sort of regulation or tax that he added, but nobody ever tells me what it is. The only thing he's really passed has been Obamacare, which at this point at least has really only added young people onto their parents insurance plans, just the sort of patients that don't get sick and bring down the costs of healthcare for everyone else. I'm sure at some point it can possibly fuck up small business but I don't think there's any evidence yet.

The Economist links say nothing that is supported. Even the links within the article. Where is the basis for their claims - in fact where are their claims that support your citation?

Several companies took large financial hits due to Health Care. Google it. Lost profits can = lost jobs. What about the increased coal regulation impact on plants, and the EPA rules on water and ozone?

I dont see all the point in all the fucking whining in here about it.

Considering the checks and balances in place, she wont be making any real decisions that would get approved without being serious checked by others.

Also, its normally the cabinet that makes the decisions for the president, the president rarely makes choices on their own without input.

Also, if I were going to move.. I'd to one of our commonwealths like Puerto Rico or the Marshall Islands and atolls. You can still work and live in the USA when you want, but your also under the rules and restrictions of those nations which a lot of times are independent gov from the USA, but are under a pack agreement for other things.

why is everyone picking these countries where you have *more* restrictions, and less internet?

I'd like to breathe freer too but its like in the US we have all these laws and taxes on par with socialist countries but none of the benefits. So moving to a place like canada may not seem so bad when you're gonna be fly papered to the state no matter what you do you'll at least have medical and know that the country wont be blowing up other countries then rebuilding them. Plus a lot of canadians girls are hot and I like bland canadian beer.

Good points, though that applies to all candidates. People were also worried that Obama could singlehandedly get the white house painted black or ban the pledge of allegiance.

In Bush's administration, he had people like Colin Powell, Catholics, and I think at least one gay and Muslim. I could see Palin instead filling hers up with nothing but stereotypical evangelicals, which would be interesting to say the least.

Canada usually helps out at least a little with war efforts, but your comment is related to this video I just watched :

in a much more positive way than they'd ever view Palin (and America with Palin). that's pretty fucking important.

or not important in the least bit

Palin presidency would have been better?

A Palin presidency would accomplish 2 important things.

1> Alaska's resources will be opened up

2> Palin will fumble her words worse than Bush jr did. This will lead to the Fed being exposed since all the breadwinners across the country will be lusting after each and every word coming out of her mouth.
