Are all the ballers mainly doing PPC?

Peter is right. There's no one way to ball.

Although, I will say that media buys offer the most scalability and least time required at scale. Facebook and standard PPC will suck more of your time away when you scale to a certain level compared to media buys and (above the board) email traffic.

But, there's several tools available that make it all manageable. It comes down to how you master the tools.

At the end of the day, it's up to you to pick one method. Once you make some money with it, replicate and scale that successful angle to the max. If you think you've gone as far as you can go, ask your affiliate manager how many leads the top guys are sending on the same offer.... then stick your tail between your legs, go back and get busier.

PPC is the most stressful ... I switched to media buys as fast as possible. I wouldn't recommend jumping into buys unless you already have an idea of what works because you'll drop all your money and not be able to pause it. Aside from ranking for "boobs" on Youtube I've never tried SEO so I wouldn't know, but I don't have the patience for it. That said, it's probably the most stable though, whereas PPC and even media buys can go down the drain overnight and you'll go from making 5 figures one day to 2 figures the next. I've actually broken 3 keyboards because I get so pissed off when I look at the stats and see that a campaign that's been doing well for months just suddenly started shitting on itself.

The real ballers own businesses, not even sure what business they're in sometimes and have offices full of motherfuckers that do the work for them. Then mostly sit around on their yachts and private islands.

Very nicely put.

Hi Alex, your hypothesis is correct. Everyone making large sums is doing ppc and ppc only, it's really your only option in this world to "ball out" so to speak.

I don't know how many times I have to share this widsom with this forum before you slackers put it into action and finally start making some fucking money:

Create multiple (xx,xxx, xxx) paypal accounts, connect checking account, collect verification deposits.

I actually just sat here and calculated how many PayPal accounts you'd need.

I was doing PPC, but I'm broke, so I've actually resorted to cold calling the white pages. I mean it works, so why not right?

Old school boiler room for you. Just remember to get that "do not call" list. I would hate to see you get hit by the FTC.........

seems to me that the majority of people making rediculous amounts of money are mainly doing PPC. is it better to go the PPC route instead of SEO?

Actually, in the perfect world, you need to do both. I use PPC to:
See if the product will sell, or is worth fooling with, and also to get new keywords that I never thought of.

Then I use that to build a site around and go the SEO route.

The only problem with PPC is that it takes money to get started and you really need to know what your are doing before jumping in and trying it.

Not just PPC

All sorts of ad buying arbitrage ( PPC, Display, PPV, Social, Insticials, etc, etc ) to CPA.

Then as you get better start building products and do the same thing.

SEO is slow low steady money, all depends on what you're looking for.

Of course "Ballers" is an arbitrary term. What you might call a baller I might think they are far from. Or the other way around.
