seems to me that the majority of people making rediculous amounts of money are mainly doing PPC. is it better to go the PPC route instead of SEO?

You gonna get raped.jpg

But to answer your question... it depends. PPC is faster to scale and is the place where you see people becoming thousandaires overnight (only to never get another big campaign ever again). SEO is a lot slower and a pain in the ass on my opinion but there are some people that are SEO juggarnaughts and would make most PPC "ballers" blush. But as far as real ballers go it usually goes like this:

SEO -> Established web property/Big Clickbank product
PPC -> Own CPA/Rebill offer

That's the end of the rainbow so to speak, if you can make this transition you can easily cash out and build a gym to hang out with broads all day. Seen it countless times.

My goal is to cash out and open a winery/brewery in California and spend the rest of my days growing grapes or hops. Good shit.

The other path to becoming a "baller":

Douche -> Guru -> WSO!

PPC? SEO?

I'd say the ballers are doin large scale media buys.

Personally I do a combination of SEO + PPC; SEO to create my own network of sites in a niche to advertise on. PPC to test landers + scale.

Mainly media buying now. Not as many rules. Although there are people who are killing ppc because there is less competition. I find it a pain in the ass nowaday days. So many guidelines you have to follow and one wrong move and your whole account gets shut down.

Article marketing is the way to go for a life of riches.

I'd have to say PPC/media buying seems to be what the ballers are doing. I came in the game doing SEO and was fucking perplexed by buying traffic. Now I'm trying to even out my income "portfolio" by making paid traffic my main bread winner, hopefully--then I want to use the money to reinvest in high authority SEO'd properties that will be around for the next decade and be standing brands on their own.

Ditto. Both. PPC/SEO. Focus on landing page conversion, e-mail follow-up, social if it works for you, etc. I see most "single" medium projects fail within a years time. Best to be diverse and measure your ROI.

you can make boatloads of $ if you know PPC well.

but it is harder than it looks. if you have the patience and do A/B testing, you should be able to get good results eventually.

This thread sucks. lol

Ok I will elaborate....First, I know of Ballers making a million a year and spending 1.5 and they are broke ass ballers. It isn't what you make it is what you spend. Look at Mike Tyson!

Second, you have to be creativre in this industry. It is so dynamic and there are so many ways to make money. it depends on what you know. PPC guys that have their campaigns on lock and know how to split test are making $. Media buys are the same thing. SEO experts who know how to get ranked for key words are getting "free" traffic and have no cost just the time they spent getting ranked. They have hundreds of websites all intricately connected serving a purpose (link wheel). What about the brand owners? They are the ones paying everyone. There are "ballers" in every corner that know what they are doing. You just gotta pick one thing you like and be good at it.

So for me to pick one media type and say this is where the ballers are is kinda an insult to everyone on this forum that is trying to get paid investing time and doing what the like/know the best.

Oh and if the majority of the people are at one spot making ridiculous amounts of money I would rather migrate to the untapped less competitive areas.

Iknow guys make over $10k per day from facebook, I know guy make over $10k per day from SEO with adsense! and I know guys who make over $10k per day from media buy. So it does not make sense to talk about which is the best method. Think about which is the best method you like and you are good at. For any promotion methods, you can make enough money. For sure you need to spend enough time into research and test. Focus is the key to success!

Personally I am doing article marketing and it is good money as well.
