NEW Facebook Ads

The only thing that I've noticed is that you can't get lifetime ad spend off a single ad anymore. You gotta run a fucking report now. Tin Foil Hat Theory says it's to make things harder for affiliates vs. branders who don't need that data.

that shit is so annoying. fuck.

Yup, my tin foil hat was telling me the same thing..

Gotcha. Thanks man

Am I the only one that has old data often appear in their account. For instance, I will resume a campaign, then a few minutes later it looks like the campaign was never resumed. And the notifications are at least a day old. Then a few minutes later it will randomly go back to normal.

I've had this problem for months. So extremely annoying.

Also in the new interface not being able to get data older than 28 days is the stupid thing I have ever seen.

The whole new interface was definitely not designed with affiliates in mind. If you run CPM, you have to get a report to find out an ads' CPC. Weak. After having the new interface for a few days I hate it. It's also EXTREMELY slow. I haven't tested it with Chrome yet, but in Firefox it sucks with more than a few tabs open. The only thing I like about it is the new Reach graph.

i am having the same problem. been over a month, it kills my profitability as facebook keeps switching between old and new data every 10 minutes (eg: cpc, new budget, ads status)

I'm glad I'm not the only one lol. That stuff is so annoying. Hopefully they fix it, but for me it has been going on for at least 2 months, ugh.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't FB use a link titled, "Take The Tour" to get advertisers to switch to the new interface and then give them no way to go back once they realize they don't like it.

They preach their bullshit about being honest with the user and yet the fucking hypocrites think it's okay to deceive us.

Yes you can, its on the very right and it's called price. Kinda stupid.

I have an old advert that has a lot of history (vol) and can get good clicks and vol, but when I try to recreate the ad it doesn't work.

The ad was for an old campaign that I can't run anymore, but there is a similar campaign but with a total different company, domain and lander.

Do you think FB will ass rape me if I swap out the links in 202 and send it to the new campaign?

You should be find as long as it's pretty much the same thing and compliant.

Will they not see that the domain is different?

I am 50/50 on doing it cause I just lost my adwords account and really don't want to lose my FB one too

Anyone have a problem with using the end time today? I chose 5PM EST time and it's still running, currently 6:45PM EST... Also my daily budget was $50 and i spent $91.75 for the day so far.

Hey guys - any tips on making ads for an investing product? I'm striking out big time here.... awful when it comes to making ads.
