New change in G algorithm

Yup, my older sites have improved rankings, and all my newer ones have fallen. Again, Google seems to have just added more weight on domain age for the most part.

yeh, same as what everyone has said. Older site shot up a few results on multiple terms, and newer site is MIA for terms I was climbing prior to change.

Couple of my older sites have remained the same.

But one old site which averages 700 SE visitors on mondays for the past 3 months only got 240 today. Ouch, good thing I don't monetize that site. It may be worth noting though it's somewhat of an abandoned site, and recently posting activity has dropped huge because I migrated users to a new site, plus there's shit like cialis spam on the home page.

My newest site (less than a month old which was getting 15-20 SE visits a day the last 2 weeks) got 0 today. About a week ago I hit #7 for a 60k local search term (broad) from just 1 sitewide link for a couple days.. Then bam, shot off to bottom of page 3 / top of page 4; this may be coincidental or due to the new update.

Hypothetically speaking, if one was to "-1" or "block" a website, over time, from 1000 different gmails and IPs...would this negatively effect someones rank?

EDIT: And, none of my sites took a fall, but I noticed some of my competitors who've been throwing shit links at their bare sites for months took a tumble.

Old sites improved ranking here too. Previously #6, now all of a sudden #2. Another site: previously #4 now #1. Profitable keywords FTW!

New sites (3-6 months old) remain stuck at horrible positions no matter what I do.

More random SERP movement from this change. Random increases / decreases on about 100 sites. All of my sites that were already rank 1 remained their though.

Something is happening but I'm not quite sure what to say yet since a few of my main sites I've been hitting hard with links lately I don't want to jump the gun and start freaking out or posting bad information till I give it a few weeks. For the most part I haven't seen much other than 1 site dropping from #1 to #3 for a moderate competition but high volume term...thing is it's been at #2 for a while and had a temp jump to #1 and now it's hovering between #1-3 so I'm thinkin it's just dancing. Although it did also lose 5 spots for a few other terms but again I don't want to jump the gun till things settle. This is an older site.

For a low competitive market, even with 40+ Unique pages, my site moved back 8-9 spots. Where as for a medium competitive keyword, with 1 page content, moved +4 spots. Looks like, some good sites will be affected for sure...

Sounds like whoever was affected by the previous change (like me) is still affected, and now 2% more are affected. My traffic seems about the same.

LOL, this is how WF makes you smarter. You learn to read between the lines. ;)

A 2 page mfa went up to first page, while a 9 page decent site got nuked to page 10.

My conclusion: f*** the algorithm update and f*** google

When I search the term I'm ranking for in Firefox, my competitors and my websites are changing position every couple of hours by the looks of it. Same with Safari and Opera.

I just checked again, and it's a Wikihow that's position 1. There's also been a shift of the top 20.

And a question about this +-1 thing...even if we could buy 1000 '-1's from BST, what would be the point? If someone hit my site with 1000 negs, I would hit theirs with 1000 negs. How the fuck would anyone be able to rank if we all kept hitting each other with -1's?
