I don't know if it was a one-time issue, but when I checked my latest profile linkwheel, none of the linkwheel links are formatted properly. While all of the links with spun anchor text back to my site are live, the links to other profiles look like:

[ url="http://url.org/member/update_profile/" ]Anchor Text
[ /url ]

(the actual links contain an extra space at the end of the first URL tag, but the rest were added by me so this would display without automatically formatting).

Do you have any vids coming that are formatted differently than the current ones? There are so many new features being added, it'd be nice to get some easy-to-load Youtube vids to watch. Great, great career-changing service though, I'm not complainin'! Just askin...

.

That would be great. Are you offering your video creation services? I am sure we can work out a deal :)

Yes we are aware of this issue and are working on it right now. It is coming from one of the site types we create the profiles on. We have removed that type of site until we get it fixed so it will not be an issue going forward.

Thanks for letting us know about it.

how many of these blog comments, profile domains are reused, basically how big is the database? I dont want to keep blasting the same 5k sites over and over just like Dripfeedblasts and blastbank still do

To be honest, I don't think the blogpost database is really big. Every blogpost has already a LOT of comments (we're talking hundreds, maybe thousands here).

But as far as I can see, they still carry some weight and I personally keep using them when I don't have any web2.0 blast scheduled :)

Our databases are always changing as we scrape more sites to use and drop the ones that do not work anymore. If I were to quote a size it would be wrong tomorrow.

We actually refresh our blog commenting database monthly. This months was a few days ago. That does not mean that there are not any comments on the new list just that it is new from our old. But yes they are effective and do help the indexing rate of 2.0's and such. :)

New feature alert!

Social bookmarking is up next so be looking for it soon.

Hey Mate,

Just wondering when we could expect the social bookmarking option? This really would top things off for me.

Have been using BLG for nearly 2 weeks and have seen a great rise for 2 keywords.

Glad you are seeing the power of the Genie. To answer your question.

Soon..... Very Soon....

Our script is running great and we are just finalizing our database of sites and creating the project set up form. As long as there are no unforeseen hiccups it will be released by the end of this month. So within the next week.

Mini-Review

BLG is doing very well for me. Had one aged URL need a kick in the pants, BLG moved it from 12 to 6. At ~$27 per 4-day run, that's hopefully worth it :)

I'm changing focus with BLG and going after product-based pages that are intended to sell something. Each 4-day run costs decent money and I need it to make returns.

good information on how to best use blg

Berto - thanks for the insights. You make some great points. That is the type of info I greatly appreciate on how to best use blg. Bottom line is we are trying to make money.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experiences & insights - as well as strategy.

How big are the databases for xrumer, blog comments, etc. If I run blog comments or xrumer every day for a month, are those all going to be unique urls?

Our databases are always in a state of flux and what we have today will be different tomorrow. For the blog comments I would say yes they will be unique for the xrumer no they will not.

Thank you for sharing your tips and methods. Everyone has their own way of doing things and until we see another way it may never occur to us to look at it in a different way.

Just a quick update on the bookmarking project type. We did have a few last hiccups but they were knocked out today. The project type is up and running on our testing accounts and is scheduled to be released on Monday :music06:

In your testing, have you noticed the social bookmarking directly doing much for rankings, or are they more just for link diversity?

Honestly we hit our own sites with so many different links we could not tell if one particular link type was the result of serp movements. All we know is our sites are going up and up.
more links = good
more links from different domains and ips = better
So yeah diversity does help too.
