Affiliate Marketing through the time (adwords)

Hi mates!

I have read the forum for good ideas of AM and the fact that many threads are from 2007 / 2008 keep me wondering how the AM industry has been changed / improved through the time.. I'm sure this thought should interest most of u out there dealing with AM.

For example Google algorithms changes, Yahoo and Bing co-operation etc. Things to be known of.

I've read Jons way to make money "affiliate + adwords" (2007) - great stuff! But my question remains - is this possible nowadays? Is it possible to use adwords for affiliating or should definately seo (organic search) be used?

What will google do, if copyrighted brand/pictures used on site.. both organic and adwords case..? Will it be removed?

It's a 2007 thread about using adwords to get traffic to an affiliate site. But i'm wondering whether it's possible to use adwords for affiliating nowadays or should definately seo (organic search) be used? Cause i've heard that google won't accept ads for affiliating today.. thinking of the case i use adwords link to my site where the affiliate link is (not directly linked to affiliate).. or will google remove it anyway?

Google AdWords hates affiliates. They only way for affiliate sites to get along with google is good content and great SEO.

why dont you go try it out.
 
Affiliates are still making a ton of money on with Adwords.
Farticles still thriving on G just search for "acai berry"
The trick is all in how you get it past G
