Probably none, plebe. Your condescension just sounded stupid. But you do have to think of things in layers.
'Support' can mean a lot of things, and in this case it would probably mean Russia and China going against Western imperialism more than going with Libya and their tin pot dictatorship. A rival of a rival can become an ally by default.
And you also have to wonder why Germany isn't going along with the crowd. It's not the first time in the couple years either. They were the ones who imposed exchange controls on speculation in their country last year when Wall Street and the City of London attacked the Euro, which kept them strong as other Euro countries were weakened.
And there's the Nord Stream pipeline project, mega gas direct from Russia to Germany, no puppet states in between to shut off the valve. Maybe they're fed up.
You're right though, it's all about the money on all sides. No honor among thieves.

Exactly. Obama is acting just as if Bush would have when we all thought he was different (including me). Why are we intervening now when this has been going on for decades?
Other arab countries have similar issues going on like in Libya but are not receiving national media attention so are we going to be the world police over there too? Wouldn't be surprised if other arab nations team up to fight back.Even after the UN forces outst Gaddafi who is going to precede him? Is America going to enforce a democratic government like in Iraq?

The present military action in Libya is backed by a UN Security Council resolution. The Iraq war wasn't.
