from your expirance from how many backlinks it become dangerus for a new site to order in one time.
??

from my experience. slowly drip links in the beginning (1-3 weeks), then you can blast away.

It has no limitation. You can catch more back link. The more backlink the more well known of your site. Please try to get more backlink.

I dumped over 10k backlinks on a brand new domain last year (within days of purchasing it), it's a healthy PR3 right now.

so why people talk about sand box and I saw it on some cases that it happened.

so when shoud I afraid from sandbox?

Truth is a huge amount of links wont get you sandboxed. What you should concentrate on is the consistency of your link building.

diversify your link profiles, dont just run xrumer links, have others as well. If the variety is there, it wont matter how many links you throw at it.

I dont understand when should I worry about getting sandbox ?

Try not to worry at all, ever. It inhibits creative thinking.

If something's bothering you, make a plan to unbother.

Don't sweat the small stuff and other cliches.

agree, wouldn't worry about the sandbox - a little trick i use on new sites is to use a plugin like WPRobot to backdate a bunch of posts relating to my site topic and drive links to it then - this makes it appear to goggle that the site has been around a few months - seems to work for me anyway, and gets my sites indexed in 24 hours, and ranking in a few days or so (depending on how competitive the niche is of course, but that's where your keyword research comes in at the beginning of the process).

im fairly new to seo, i was always under the impression to many link to quickly will raise alarm bells

I can get you sandboxed but it is not a rule that you will. You are right in saying that CONSISTENCY is the key. The sandbox is not the end of a site, focus on building a portfolio of sites and that way you won't have to be overly-concerned while a particular site does it's dance. Consistently link month by month and you will be in great shape.

Diversity is a big one I'm starting to realize. Dont' just do xrummer, mix it up with articles, videos, web 2.0s, all that stuff is really going to help you.

Diversity of backlinks is good to have but it is not key. Relevancy is key. This is even more important than the number of backlinks you have. If you get a few quality and relevant .gov or .edu backlinks along with your regular ones, then you wont need 1000s of them to rank anyway. 1 good relevant, quality backlink is always better than 1000s of junk links.

relevancy does not matter, authority and trust does.

you should definitely keep things slow when you start. Also, you'll see a lot of google dancing on the new domain.

And if you really want to quicken up the things, buy a old domain.

relevancy does not matter, authority and trust does.

From Google themselves [emphasis mine]:

"...The best way to get other sites to create relevant links to yours is to create unique, relevant content that can quickly gain popularity in the Internet community...

...It is not only the number of links you have pointing to your site that matters, but also the quality and relevance of those links..." ~Google Webmaster Tools

Obviously, Google disagrees with you and sees RELEVANCY as important.
