i disagree, usually ecstasy is (most of the time MDMA) mixed with a bunch of stuff, where as MDMA is unmixed and pure, at least what i did was. but they are very close

MDMA is ecstasy. Ecstasy is MDMA. Molly is just a slang term for Ecstasy. They are not very close, they are the same thing. MDMA with a bunch of crap in it is just crappy Ecstasy. How can you be so sure your "Molly" was unmixed and pure? Papa's right, you kids don't know what the fuck you're talking about. For example, do you know that there's a subtle difference between MDMA and MDA and often what is sold as "Ecstasy", "Molly", (there are literally hundreds of slang names for E, pick your fav) is actually MDA? Very few kids who've done "E" these days even know what a real ecstasy trip feels like because there's so much crap being sold as E, or Molly, or whatever.

Poll needs a hallucinogens option.

Indeed, a serious omission.

In Denmark it's in several off-the-counter no prescription drugs. I took a quick Google search around and found this to be fairly common including e.g. guess where... Your neighbor country Canada. Please realize US <> the world :)

From Wikipedia
"
It is less potent than morphine and has a correspondingly lower dependence-liability than morphine. Like all opioids, continued use of codeine induces physical dependence and can be psychologically addictive. However, the withdrawal symptoms are relatively mild, and, as a consequence, codeine is considerably less addictive than the other opiates.
"

I think that sums it up quite nicely and also gives your POV some weight.

But oh regarding the retarded thing. Do you know (it's retorical, I know the answer) the saying that when you point a finger towards another person, 3 fingers point at yourself. For added effect, try do it in a mirror!

lol nigga you serious

Hi Papa!

Do you agree that tobacco should be added?

Seeing that some here argues that (mixed content) low-dosis codeine painkillers off-the-counter (except some countries such as US) supposedly taken when in pain is the same as "recreational" heroine use, I think tobacco must be included as well! Arguments for:

used for recreational means
kills a lot of people
highly addictive

yes? Am I right moderator? :xmas-smiley-016:

+1 DMT. This shit is awesome, really put things into perspective for me. Since I've done it a few times I feel much better about pretty much everything.

man after trying peyote, acid, and mushrooms within the span of two months I would love to try dmt.

oh.. and drugs that I do regularly.... copious amounts of nicotine and caffeine.

sure, tobacco/nicotine is a drug.

Only booze atm, but thinking about smoking some weed again like back in college :)

Oh and maybe you need to add coffee also if you guys are talking about cigs :)

Coffee is extremely safe (won't give you cancer, smoke lungs etc.). You have to take in an extreme amount for it to be dangerous. Small to moderate usage may even provide health benefits that match or beat disadvantages. Add to that it (seems to me) it's a habit that is easier to kick than nicotine. (From observation, as I don't smoke I dunno. Guess everyone is different.)

i'm willing to put a $fiver on the fact that you've never tried anything but coffee in your life and Tylenol doesn't count

That's no secret unless you count booze which, in truth, I also almost entirely stopped with some years :) I have several friends offering weed and/or arguing coke really isn't bad (which I'm inclined to agree seeing how much some of them sniffed without dropping to the floor) but naaaaa no thanks, not for me :)

Being liberal (which is actual slightly right wing in Denmark) I am in principle willing to accept arguments that Marijuana should be legal. I wouldn't vote against it. Personally I think regular nicotine/tobacco is way more dangerous and actually a bit offensive (pay lots of money to die 10 years sooner gasping for air, it's lame IMO) compared to getting occasionally stoned which AFAIK never hurt anyone :)

Anyways, I just didn't imagine anyone actually used (pure?) codeine as a drug (why use that above other drugs??). I only know it as a part ingredient (low dosis) in off-the-counter (and yes obviously also in some prescription) medicine. For me it's like saying glue is druguse when you use the glue to... glue something.

In my mind, Ecstasy is pills with MDMA and whatever cut (usually meth, coke, 2cb, whatever else), and Molly is pure powder/crystals. Of course it's rarely "pure", but it's much cleaner than bombs. If you get a hold of REAL molly it will be in crystal form - that's as pure as you're going to get to pure MDMA and 1 hit will fuck your shit up. Most people have to take 2-5 times as much X as Molly to feel the same euphoria though. Molly is a relatively short, intense experience, where ecstasy pills are a longer lasting drug, and keep you awake often for more than 24 hours. The cut is what's keeping you up.

Don't worry about how I know this kinda shit :cool-smiley-008:

a molly is pure MDMA, as opposed to the heroin and whatever the hell else they lace E with these days

What a crock of shit. Because it comes in "crystalline" form and because some douchebag has labelled it "Molly" it's somehow more pure and has more street cred than "E"?

You guys are truly naive. Just because "E" has gotten such a bum rap because of the lack of quality over the last 10+ years dealers decided to come up with another name for a bag of shit and claimed it was "pure".

The "Molly" I've seen looks like brown sugar. MDMA is not brown.

And I have to laugh at the idea that a bag of loose crystals should be considered more pure than a tab. In the early raving days E was usually sold in 100-120 mg gel caps, packed by the dealers themselves and so easily adulterated. The best part about tabs is that they can't be fucked with after they are manufactured. Now everyone is confident that their bag of powder is "pure". It's a laughable notion.

MDMA is Ecstasy, and has and always will be. Molly is just another one of the many hundreds of slang words for the same thing.
