Who the fuck goes to Mastercard.com anyway? Unless this is prohibiting MasterCard transactions from being made, big fucking deal.

I'd assume that they'd have DDOS'd the portal which stops a lot of their major merchants from resolving disputes, or the IPs that allow their API to tie into Paypal and other Merchant Services.

Still, a single day of attacks could cost the company tens of millions in potential revenue as well as frustrated customers who lost money as well, which makes them want to think twice about just cutting someone lose under pressure without researching who might not be happy with it.

True, I guess I should probably read the source articles before commenting next time.

Fucking awesome,...mastercard can support kkk ...but can't support an org which tries to educate the public of the truth....

shit well i hope none of my CPS traffic wanted to pay via mastercard today.

It's really stupid that the US fears nations like North Korea and China, when clearly they should only worry about pissing off teh hackers.

" . . . and the group has vowed to target Paypal, which has also ceased processing payments to the site."

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I just got this email from my Merchant Account:

"MasterCard is experiencing heavy traffic on its external corporate website – MasterCard.com. We are working to restore normal speed of service.

There is no impact whatsoever on our cardholders ability to use their cards for secure transactions."

HA> +REP for Operation Payback!
