I just tried to find a service from a long standing member, and his post was on the 6th page from just a few days ago.. I had to weed through post after post of bullshit..

There has to be something done about these new worthless profiles links services and just overall bullshit, the new worthless thread starters it is way out of control.

There will be no incentive for the good services to come and stay here if they have to be in the same section as the newbs shitty thread starters.

Need to open a section for newbs services.. I am getting to where I dont come here as often because it is just the same old bullshit roaches over and over. It is just about as bad as DP was if not worse.

Simply making a new section for the newb roaches would help out greatly.

Same thing is happening in the content section. At first, I was going into threads that were being bumped, or into a provider's multiple threads, to offer feedback.

I haven't the time, patience, or desire to do so any longer. erect has done a great job, but even the Spartans were eventually killed by the hordes of infidels.

With the number of people abusing SBT, it becomes hard for old and new quality vendors to survive. The best solution IMO is pay for play. $25 for a thread might be a good start. Will weed out lots of the scammers.

Yes obviously I have been doing this too, but after spending a month and a few hours a day giving threats in there threads they finally got the best of me :)

Or just the New Provider section, could keep them contained until they prove themselves then they could be moved to the proven providers section.

Yes I agree, there is a need for this a few more, what ever label you want to give them, just putting threats in there thread is not enough ban power is needed by a few members to help with the issue.

Yes, I care becoz i was selling the same service a few months back but now i have to stop selling it as it was going against the RULES!!!

The RULES are made to be followed and are not meant to be tampered according to someone's interest!! If its a RULE then it has to be followed..that's it!!

As far as the thread is concerned, I found this thread to be the best place to post for this RULE violation!!
 
First of all I don't know whether I qualify to post on this thread. I thought I might as well since I have something to share.

It hasn't been a month that I am a member of this forum, and I must say it is one of the best out there on the internet. I am a vendor, and thus the only thing I can share is my findings.

SBT is the point of discussion. Thanks to Jake, I found this thread yesterday. Now that I know what he wanted to preach, I have an eye out for the offenders.

To cut the crap, this is what I found


* There are some out there jumping their gun at the word ' Review', and sometimes they are the same folks we are talking about.

* Some of the vendors have multiple threads to promote their services ( Even I have, but I found it inappropriate, and thus discontinued posting in the other threads). Now these vendors are not bumping their threads to remain at the top of the STB content section, but they are switching between their threads to get what they want.

* I guess people should be really made to read this thread before they can post in STB as there are many DP dickheads out there who don't know we care about this forum, and this forum is not anything close to what DP stands for.

* Last but not the least we must do something about preserving the talents we have in here. Since I have been out there in the park for quite long now, I know people value quality service and care less about who you are. Since DP has been attracting unusual number of illiterate writers nowadays, many IMs have moved to other forums/sources to get their contents written. Since I love this forum, I think we may do something about preserving the standard of service, and the minimum rates for getting any sort of contents written. It's simple. If this is done, many fly-by-night writers/providers will find it difficult to adjust to the expected quality since IMs will expect a minimum standard when a minimum rate is forced upon everyone to follow. Thus we will be able to maintain the standard this forum is proud of, and also do away with tons of shit that don't sell.

@eract-> please look into the matter, he is trying to get ride of his competitors.
Look at his sales thread, so many newbies have never back after purchase/bump his thread.

Ha Ha. :) I love the way people give their reviews!! :)

Yeah, I do sell stuff on other forums and that's a part of business!! But on that forum (the one you mentioned) allows the selling of Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and so i do!! :)

Regarding newbie's, i really cant control the after sales feedback. I just say once i send the report to give the reviews and my service is something which don't have immediate results. It takes time to have the results and till that time (may be) the customer forgets to give the reviews. The one who already doing this, understands it instantly and give the reviews instantly!!

@Erect : I have no problems with reverse point outs. You can always see my thread and just to make people clear, i am just posting regarding a RULE break i saw and if he is my competitor, its his bad luck i can say. Dont have time to see the remaining threads and see whats going in there. Just talking practical i think. :)
