$500 Silver

Missed it, can't see it now. Funnily this thread is now at number three when you search in google for "$500 Silver"

yeah, its called market distortion. The weight of all the shorts pulls down the price of silver, as soon as gold starts revving up or silver looks like its coming back to life, the banksters pile on the shorts and pull everything back in again.

$3.3 billion short? How does that work? Thats more then the value of silver thats ever dug out of the ground in any one year.

What about platinum? Gold almost costs as much as it. Is it a good buy?

Whenever buying metals I always ask, can you buy enough to make a difference?? If you are buying silver, or even gold, an ounce here or there, you are pretty much wasting your time other than to be a part of a novelty..

If silver ever hits $500 you'll wish you had bought bullets instead..

My investment in silver is up 50% in 3 months. That's not a novelty. Of course I didn't buy an ounce or two, but then again I didn't buy enough to influence the market one way or the other either.

I'd say SELL! Take the money off the table. Realize the profits and be happy :)

Not bad advice, sell the silver and reduce your blood pressure at the same time. Silver price is very volatile, if you don't mind holding it for a good few years, you will probably do very well. If you want to sell this year or next who knows.

The Changing Landscape in Gold and Silver

About 8 paragraphs down, article notes the manipulation of precious metal's pricing by the bankers.

It would be all wingnut stuff except West has make a killing on his portfolio over the last few years by noting all this stuff.

Most of the people I talk to that are buying silver are buying a couple ounces at a time..

The real money is buying scrap jewelry off the street..
