So all of the sudden im getting this really fucked up issue...
When I go to YouTube and enter a search term, hit Submit, I get the YouTube results for a half second then the page blanks out except for a 250x250 Dell advertisement.
The wierd part is, the URL is still on YouTube and the page looks like its still attempting to load.
After looking at the page with Firebug it appears as though a request is being made somewhere to a Doubleclick URL that uses JS to do a document.write() to the page.
Is this on YouTube's end? I cleared out all cookies and I havent had any issue with spyware, this is recent install of Windows XP SP2 (Month or 2 old)
It also happend real quick on a Yahoo Answers page...
Has anyone ever seen this before? Do I have some kind of fucked up Spyware?
******************** EDIT **************************
It appears, that if I refresh the search URL over and over again, it will finally load the page correctly - as it turns out, the same Dell advertisement shows up on the right side of the page.
I find it hard to believe that a document.write() could be mistaken on random page loads... Im thinking the possibility of a new YouTube setup made to piss people off?
