Your Domain Extension Dilemma

Domain Extensions

When prospecting domains for your next project, would you rather have:

1. A so-so .com
2. A pretty damn good .net
3. Your exact keyword in any other or ccTLD

Regarding the question, I'd say 1., followed by 2. and then 3.

Net is ok, but I really like having a .com because it makes the site look more serious.

It is a general question because it depends on whether or not you are making a serious site, a quick 1 hour job and putting it up forever only for SE traffic, or what.

Normally I like .com's though.
