I'm using MySQL, what about you ?! Did you ever have any issues with any of the databases ?!

well, mysql is probably most common in the online world. MSSQL if you're on a windows host and have developing background with MS products I suppose

mysql has served its purpose for me for several years now. i dont have huge traffic or resource intensive sites yet. on the larger scale (which day job sites), we have oracle and ms sql.

Given the choice I would use Oracle. I use that at my day job.

For web based project I used mysql. Much easier to set up and most importantly, its free.

All the *SQL db types share a lot of commands and queries so I like to stick within that family.

Yeah. From what I've heard from family (they're all developers), Oracle is a better platform if you have lots of data.
For my sites, which are relatively small, the only obvious choice is MySQL.

oracle for medium large enterprise

my sql is best for personal use
