Alright so since wf is full of bros who lift and do not lift I figured I would ask what blender do you guys recommend/use ? I'm looking for a blender to use to make protein shakes and shit. I was checking out amazon but most blenders seem to have bullshit reviews or bad reviews recently. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes this thread is srs.

I like my vitamix, but a friend went with the blendtec because it's apparently a little shorter and fits under her upper kitchen cabinets better. I'm happy with mine, she's happy with hers, I think you can't really go wrong either way. But do what vipervin suggested and get it at Costco, my friend and I both got ours there at different times and they always come with some nice extras.

Check out the Ninja blenders. Consumer Reports or some shit said they're not too far off from vita/tec, but they're under $100.

I bought a Vitamix and had the same problem. It's easily solved: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Vitamix-Blade-Black-Blender-Container/dp/B00511YNUG"]Link[/ame]

Team NutriBullet here.

Mine always leaks. I mean always. Slightly tightened. Moderately Tight. New Gasket. Then the juice gets in the unit :(

There is a reason there under $100 and need infomercials to sell. Ninja blenders are SHIT.

Weird. How old is it? I called and got my entire fucking thing replaced for free, didn't even need to send it to them - new base, new blade (blade looked redesigned too, they changed the bottom so it has a metal plate to prevent leaking, etc.)

It helps if you use it correctly. (Yeah, she managed to use a blender wrong.)

Please enlighten us - with the proper blending procedures. I'm very curious.

Pretty interesting.. Since even yet another person got sub-par results with the ninja. So are you telling me that all these people are too stupid to operate a blender? Or perhaps maybe the ninja is just an inferior blender.
