I'm giving my signature spot to one person for 30 days. I'll put whatever you want there.

But there's a catch...

To be considered, you have to create a new thread of value. It has to be posted in one of the following sections:

Affiliate Marketing
Art of Mailing
Traffic is Supreme
Content is King
Design, Development and Programming
Hosting and Domains
Newbie Questions

After you create said thread, post the link to it here for people to find. After two weeks, I'll post a thread with a poll and let the members decide which thread was the most worthy. Voting will last one week. The winner will get my signature.

What can you put in my signature? Pretty much anything, unless it breaks one of the forum rules. If you don't know what those are, read them now.

So...anyone game?

Glad people like it. I was just about to change my sig to something else (again) and figured "What the hell, why not let someone else decide what goes there?"

Weird shit is thought up at 3am. Even stranger shit is being thought up at 8:15am. Going on 24 hours without sleep. Argghhhhhh :sleep:

because i've been here for over a year, I have already posted information people liked alot. With other accounts because Jon banned me without any reason at all for the problems on IRC a while back.
 
Why is your signature spot any more valuable to us than the signature spot of a one post wonder or a noob who just joined the forum yesterday?

To be honest, I'm not sure if it has any value. :D

Actually, I just thought this might be a fun way to get some people posting more great threads. Call it an experiment.

I can say that my signature links - over time - have signed up 58 people to Copeac, which makes me a couple hundred a month in referrals. So, that's something.

Besides, think of it this way, wouldn't it be fun to fuck with a moderators signature area? If you win, you can put anything there that you want. Hell, you can even put derogatory shit about me if you like. As long as it doesn't break the rules, I'm not going to censor it.

Like I said before, just thought it would be a fun way to get people to post some useful stuff.
 
Since Mike is actually all over the place, even more so than John and I (the only two others beating him in post counts I think), it would actually be a really good deal if someone were to win it.

Personally I think Mike should give away 1 spot for each section winner.. if that's not already the deal.

That's not a bad idea, but I think it would really depend on how many people decide to participate. If the participation level is there, hell yeah.

Right now, I've only seen one person post a link to their thread. :error:
