Could you please change your description of your fully managed service? Ripping us word for word isn't cool. I sent you guys an email, but you never responded, so I brought it here. It may not seem like a big deal, but it takes me time to write this shit and I'd rather not have it ripped (aren't you supposed to be a writer?) kthnx.

Since I'm not the one that manages the website, I will be having it taken down tonight. I apologize for this and want you to know personally that is not how I roll. This is one of those times that I shouldn't have trusted someone else's content and actually read it. I will be handling this personally. Also, no you never did email us, multiple managers receive emails from sales, support, and also my email is monitored by my operations manager as well. So obviously, you didn't send an e-mail.

Had you contacted me directly, that would have been way more professional on your part instead of trying to bash a competitor of yours publicly, just like you display employee affairs and how you may end up turning into a one man shop. Good luck and this will be handled in less than 8 hours.

Emailed you at getyourwriter@gmail.com, from your whois data, from my gmail (same name) account on January 9th, 8:44pm CST. Don't make me post a screenshot and make you look stupider than you already are. Trust me, you don't want to start shit, just change the page and move on with your life...

And who the fuck doesn't read their own site?
 
For one, that e-mail isn't even valid and it sure isn't a Volsh email. I rarely check that email since it's not a company email. If you go to our site, you can find it easy to contact us. Hell, come right now hit me on live chat to discuss this. I will be waiting.

Wouldn't you be violating ICANN rules by not having valid information in your WHOIS?

If it wasn't checked, yes. I misinterpreted that since I do check that email once in a while, but not every day or every week.

:P Ok, seeing as Volsh is obviously your business and such... why not have all the WHOIS information properly filled out with Volsh contact information for each department. I mean sure I've used personal emails and what not on some of my WHOIS information (most of which is barely protected by whois privacy), but you'd think a hosting company would know better.

Now course I may be wrong in thinking this , but a couple small things add up to make me lean towards the thinking that perhaps you did know, and was too busy to bother with it, figured it'd be easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I guess if I were in your shoes, I would have probably not even bothered fueling the fire with the retaliation, just simply put that it was duly noted and the situation is being taken care of.

I get your drift, and I respect your opinion on this. I also appreciate your suggestions on the WHOIS info. I have done what you suggested just to make it better for everyone, it was a good idea.

First off, retaliation? Nah, it's not even close to that as I am simply stating what is publicly known on this forum.

Was I in the wrong for not reading the site? Of course, but we all make mistakes and learn from them.

As a writer, I know that this can be a killer not to read what others write and it could be, but I don't see any bad effects coming from it. I'm being completely honest about the situation and trust me it will be handled, but business affairs are to be kept private in that sense. Now, I just about have a new one completed, so it will be posted tonight and the current will be destroyed.

I'm not here to fight with competitors for my hosting company, the success of Volsh is what makes the difference, not what another competitor thinks or does. Hell, thanks for the heads up subigo, even if it was in this manner.

I probably should have PM'd you too, but anyone who knows me also knows that I really don't give a shit about people thinking I'm "mean" and taking things public. I tell potential customers to go away all the time because I know they'll be too much of a hassle. So I sure as shit don't care about "proper business etiquette".

Anyway, this thread can be deleted for all I care (after the page is changed).
