Short narative: The owner of this restaurant, thinks "soup of the day" is just whatever soup they are serving that day (which just so happens in their case to be the same soup every day) and not a different soup every day.

I've watched the British version. I like to see how businesses are run in other countries. I saw a few episodes of the American version and could hardly stand it. So much editing and drama. At least the one in jolly olde England focused mostly on the business and food aspect instead of why a husband and wife can't get along.



I feel embarrassed even admitting that.

Ramsay is the shit and I will watch anything he puts on the air. Yes, the UK version was more about the food and less about the drama and it was better for it, but I don't miss an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I love it.

Also love Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. They both do fantastic community and environmental work.

Have you never been to a walmart?

I was there one evening, saw a woman and her daughter getting into a car at the end of the row and I decided to wait until they left and grab the space. If only I'd have known what was about to happen I'd have recorded it. There was a car on one side of her and a large cement post on the other, this was not a small parking space. The lady began to back out, but before she did that she cranked the wheel all the way to the side. She backed out a little, pulled forward a little turned the wheel and repeated this process 4 or 5 times until her car was parallel to the aisle, but between the post and the other car. She missed the post by mere inches. She got out of the car went to the back and looked at where she almost hit the pole a second time, then got back in. Then she got out to look again, her daughter who couldn't have been 20 got out, threw her hands up and went back to her obviously upset. They switched sides, the daughter got the car back into the space and back out into the aisle in about 10 seconds like a normal person. Then they switched sides and the mom drove off.
