Yahoo Selling a Shit ton of HUGE domains



some absolute gems... and some domains that seem more like something that someone here would buy than a billion dollar company.
 
great motherfucking list, very costly but great. I doubt it those sites can reach $4mil. Yeah most sites are great av.com priced at more than 100k as a starting point but over all I dont think they'll make it to 4mil for these 500+ sites.
 
how did they acquire these domains in the first place?

Anyone could have hand registered these domains early on.

Mark Cuban said a lot of these names in the Yahoo lot were picked up by him from his old company before Yahoo bought him out.

They are selling them as they know that everything they touch and acquires simply fail.
But if serious, nice list - it will be interesting to see the finals prices.
 
Some really good domains, but have also seen quite a few i wouldt even pay 50$ for on that list,
 
Yahoo has been in biz since the mid 90s, and back then they were the Google. I can imagine they grabbed a lot of space of the years and I'm not surprised now that they want to offload a bunch.
