Has anyone used the Y! dev tools they so graciously went public with? I've primarily used the page layouts for one major reason - they are cross browser, w3c compliant, and heavily tested by Y!. Granted, I've had to go in and modify every layout to get it suited to my taste, but I was very happy they decide to go public with this stuff. And of course shortly after this, G decides to release their own web dev platform. Gotta love benefitting from their competition :)

Speaking of Y! publisher, does anyone know if there is a date already for when they go out of beta? I'm not in the US so I'm looking forward to this day.

What i'd like to see is a coparison beteen ypn and adsense like one month adsense and one month ypn, and see if there are diffrences in cpc's and stuff. Of course this is pretty niche dependant but it might be intresting

Hes talking abotu the dev tool.. not YPN! :D

Personaly I've yet to use it myself.

Why do they seem useless? Im just curious, as I only use the page layouts, not the functions or any of the other libraries.

Oh you mean the dev tools, I've been using the YUI toolkit for a project and it works really well, it's not very hard to implement animation to your CSS layout elements.
