Would like to build a arbi "onlinestore"..?

Hi all, new here, been lurking like a dirty old man (im 25) since december and finally thought of something I could ask since I can´t get a grip on the problem myself..

I´m looking at a couple of domains that all are very near or similar to current onlinestores, what I would want to do is create similar pages, that "looks" like it´s a store complete with products, info and categories, but instead of a checkout button all the user would find is arbi links.

I would usually do this with affilaites, but these specific niches don´t have any good affiliateprograms, so it´s arbi or nothing it seems..

Anyway, the question and problem i'm drawing blank at is what the hell to use for backend?? Should I use a real module for stores like oscommerce or zencart and just mod it to show only my links instead of checkout (sounds very hard since then I have to mod away the shoppingcart and alot of other stuff) Or do you guys know of any good CMS that can mimic a shop?

I'll let you guys know if I stumble on a sollution for this (if anyone else is interested in doing the same that is)

I do something similar only with affiliate links. I got looked around for ages for software to do what I wanted and ended up giving up after trying a few and just not having them do what I want. oscommerce/zencart are good but they are total overkill. I ended up just writing the software myself(the stuff that runs tshirt judge below) in rails. Took me a weekend and has everything I need, categories, click/impression tracking, easy to add new items(I have it download the image automatically) and two product areas. I'm currently modifying it for another site of mine which will require it to be a little more general and to handle datafeeds but its going well. Let me know if you find anything else though.
