Working with people from India

Hi,

In the past I've worked with people from India and due to a lot of comunication problems and zero support after the project was delivered I found it not to be such a possitive experience.

Just a couple of days ago, I was contacted by an in India based company who wanted to do my SEO stuff and Viral marketing.

I feel like I'm going to try out some stuff with them. Set it up under a new domain, copy my content and see what they can do. They have showed me a list of clients and did a free report on my website. Their documentation looks in order.

What is your experience on this topic ?

I've had great and horrible experiences with outsourcing. It depends on who you get. Next time I'm going to get a foreign entity to do work for me, I'm going to try to give them a small project first, ask them to tell me in their own words what I asked them to do and then finally, not give them too much power over things.

I used to run a web hosting company and while they provided great support for my customers, once I gave them a password to a server, because they offered to take on even more duties, all hell broke loose.

Yeah,

I know that's what I'm thinking of doing too first. I see some potential and who else offers you a full time SEO guy for 500 a month

It's cheap, but let's try a small something first.

The thing is, I am looking for cheap labor and some virtual assistants. So this might just be it
