Wordpress theme - Moving the side bar?

I'm not trying to backlink but the only way I can show you is to link you to my site.

I would like to move the ads that are on the right side of the page, to the LEFT side of the page in the BLACk bar.

Which template/stylesheet would it be under?

That "black bar" you are referring to I believe is your theme's background.

You want to look for a wordpress theme that allows for multiple columns. Or at least a sidebar on the left side of the page.

Atahualpa theme is very customisable.. and free, plus very good support forum

another thumbs up for thesis theme framework from me, but be warned there's a bit of a learning curve with it - altho you can buy some skins for it too if you dont fancy mucking around with css or php - another good wp framework (and free) is Thematic - some other paid options include woothemes, headway, and genesis.
