Wordpress Sticky Plugin No More?

Do the plugins to make a particular post on wordpress remain at the top of the homepage work on the newest version? I've tried wp-sticky 1.10, wp-stickpost, and adhesive. None work. Sticky doesnt even sho up on the plugins page. The other two do, but when activated - no changes and no mods available under options.

I hope that I understand You correctly...
If plugin is working then he must be visible on the plugin activation page!
Otherwise there is a problem and Wp cant recognize it or accept!

Plugin activates fine. It may be a conflict with the new 2.3 version (alot of plugins don't work with that). I found the remedy by changing the posting date on the write page.

Oh sorry, got ahead of myself. That partivular one didn't show up at all. Others I tried did, but did nothing, so, ditto above.

Did u read installation manual of the plugin?
Sometimes You need to put some php code in to index page!
I know few plugins that need to be delivered in order to work!
It seems like Wp accepts ur plugins!
So my advice is ..... read install manuel!

I ran into a similar problem. The only sticky post plugin that works for me is Sticky-Posts, which is available here.
