Wordpress Plugin Help Needed

I've looked around a bit, but can't find what I'm looking for - I'd like each post to have a picture/thumbnail automagically added to it, based on the category the post is in.

So, for example, if the category was "cats", each post from it would have the same kitty picture assigned to it.

Any ideas on how to do this, or which plugin to use ?
