There are easy instruction on the Wordpress site for updates. It is fairly easy. They make it seem harder than it is.
For the curious, this release includes:
- Small performance enhancements
- Movable Type / Typepad importer fix
- Enclosure (podcasting) fix
- The aforementioned security enhancements (nonces)
