I just discovered that PDF995 sucks! The pdf files that I created can be highlighted & copied, there's no security at all. On top of that it's hard to add hyperlinks.

What a dummy I am, I've been using it for over a year because it's free.

Any recommendations on which software is good yet not too expensive, hopefully easy to use! All I need is to be able to disable copy function, add hyperlinks easily, password-protect, etc.

Thanks.

OpenOffice.org: Home works great for PDF creation with some protection.. And it's FREE!! although a big download..

You'll use the writer for PDF conversion, and it opens up ANY WORD DOC for easy conversion too..

I completely agree on OpenOffice. I have Word and prefer OpenOffice Writer as a word processor and the export to PDF couldn't be simpler.

OpenOffice is great! (Didn't realise it could do pdfs.. makes it even better!)

Would never go back to M$
