Why "No Diving" signs exist



Seen it, but HOLY FUCK to see it again.. as i recall his face smashed into that exposed metal on the sea wall. The metal is what was so sharp to cut his face in half. I remember being confused thinking it was the cement. I think the kid still lived...

Ah yea makes sense now. When i first saw I thought holy shit he must of been way up for the cement to fuck up his face like that or maybe he caught his face right at the edge. Now it makes a little more sense why his face was that bad.

And from reading the comments in translated spanish I think i was able to make out that he lived for like 3 days after that in a coma and eventually died.
 
I've known two people to do dumb shit like this and end up paralyzed from the neck down. I'll never understand that very unaware sense that "things like that only happen in movies" or "it'll never happen to me"
